The Greater Atlanta Area Chapter of the 9th & 10th (Horse) Cavalry Association (Buffalo Soldiers) hosted the 135th Annual Reunion from July 23 thru July 29, 2001. The Reunion was held at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center Hotel in Atlanta, Ga. Reunion attendees consisted of African-American Military Veterans from all across the country, their wives, children, guests and friends as well as local dignitaries. The objective of the Reunion was to focus public attention on the contributions and achievements of the 9th & 10th U.S. Cavalry Regiments in service to our nation.
